Today we have officially been at school for 100 days! Only 100 more to go! To celebrate, we shared our learning with our parents and did lots of exciting activities to do with 100, like making a times table centipede, drawing ourselves as a 100 year old, and coming up with a list of 100 words. We also did a folk dance and had a special assembly to celebrate 100 days of learning. Check out the movie to see us in action!

Kia Ora Room 8,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to celebrate 100 days of learning. It's such a clever idea. We thought your hats and crowns looked nice and colourful. Some of us have never seen folk dancing before so hopefully we get a chance to learn it too.

ReplyDeleteThat is some awesome dancing Room 8, we would like to learn that too. How long did it take to learn that dance? We liked that our parents came to watch, because we always perform better for an audience. Thanks for posting your movie, we are looking forward to the next one.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your achievements and goals with us and for the wonderful folk dancing and singing - it was a very enjoyable morning.
ReplyDeleteWhen I look on the blog at everything you have been doing this year it is hard to believe how much you have fitted in to just 100 days. Well done room 8!
I can't wait to see what the next 100 days brings.

Hi Room 8 Superstars,
ReplyDeleteWe liked your movie and looking at your dance. You made some great hats. You make better hats than us. We like your folk dancing. What is the name of your dance you performed?
